Global Inspection
Specialist Ltd. (GIS) works closely with experienced partners in Japan, United
Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Thailand, and South Africa. Everyone we work
with possesses both the technical skills and administrative abilities to ensure
that all strict processes are meticulously followed, and all vehicle certifications
are carefully monitored as required by the regulating government agency of the
importing country.

This equipment is
used for all our onsite inspections including at the approved Compact Free
Trade Zone. VTEQ mobile commercial brake testers for heavy duty vehicles and
light duty vehicles is also used to provide complete vehicle roadworthiness
tests on all types of vehicles including the larger categories. All devices and
equipment are mobile and can be placed in an approved location for easy
accessibility and immediate inspection of the arriving vehicles to the
port.
Our “On Arrival Inspection” is in accordance with government standards latest code
of practice for the inspection of road vehicles. The inspection for the
radioactive contamination is completed for all vehicles, heavy equipment and
spare parts, and the verification of odometer integrity for used vehicles. Our responsibility is in ensuring that true
and accurate inspections are conducted with integrity and to conform to the
relevant standards set by the regulating authorities prior to the release of
the vehicle and is accompanied with certificate of Roadworthiness and
Conformity (CoRCs), a requirement for the clearance of the vehicles and spare
parts at their destination.
GIS manages the
inspection process as the main contractor to ensure any and all inspection sub-contractors
strictly and consistently comply with regulatory requirements and so therefore are
directly responsible to governing agencies of the importing countries. We work
closely with the regulating authorities of several different countries to be
fully aware and in compliance with all relative regulations and in strict
alignment with the approved inspection criteria in relation to international
standards. We source and engage with qualified inspectors in different
countries which enables us flexibility to measure and ensure that our high
quality of service requirements are being met to satisfy any audit.
Our company
has a team of highly skilled IT experts that consistently develop state-of the
art technologies including a fully functional mobile application with visual
capabilities and real time data uploads straight from the vehicle inspectors
ensuring that all inspection information is accessible by all interested
parties at any time. Our advanced IT system can also provide management and issuance
of inspection e-certificates globally to help regulators manage qualified
vehicle import monitoring and alert any presentation of potential forgeries of
physical certificates. Our live data access and verification is only a click
away with instant access making it easy to be informed even prior to the
shipment of vehicles.
Our team
works diligently to achieve any requirements and expectations that is granted
upon us. Our GIS Managing Director has the experience of working with many
government agencies before including Kenya Bureau of Standards, Tanzania Bureau
of Standards, most African bureaus, the New Zealand Ministry of Primary
Industries, the Australia Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment, and
the Jamaican Trade Board. We are confident that GIS can not only meet but

countries are not only roadworthy, but also safe.

The advantages of implementing a customized vehicle on arrival entry certification standard prior to the release of the vehicles are numerous, but can be highlighted as follows.
1. Our management has at least
12 years of experience in providing motor vehicle inspections internationally.
2. We have both knowledge and
experience for at least 15 years in ISO preparation with ISO 17020 2012 Version
Type A and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
3. We have not had a contract for
providing inspection services terminated by any Government, or Government
Agency in the past 5 years.
4. We have not been involved
in any litigation involving inspection services in the past 5 years.
5. We provide online website
tracking and a real time certificate printing option.
6. We provides advanced IT
infrastructure including mobile applications for inspection work and digital
records.

We are able to carry out mobile
inspections offsite and are not limited to purely operating in a bonded
facility.
8. Our qualified staff receive
meticulous training, and we ensure that all required and appropriate testing
and diagnostic equipment is used.

interest or business relationships in any 3rd party vehicle
export/import/customs clearance/forwarding and shipping company to ensure to
maintain our high level of compliance, integrity, and focus purely on the
inspection process.
10. We have a live database
that enables government regulators to conduct independent audits to check
potential erroneous data, at any time in order to be proactive to immediately
correct any identified issues. This ensures transparency throughout the process
from the date of inspection order, through actual inspection, to finally the
transporting the units to the port.

systems are continually being enhanced to improve customer experience, minimize
costs, improve integrity, and make our historical data accessible for the next
10 years from the date of the inspection.
